Ingredients
- 4 hot dog buns
- 4 large pork sausages
- 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
- 4 Cheddar cheese slices
- Ketchup
- Diced pickles
Instructions
Boil the sausages for several minutes until tender.
Sauté the sliced red onion in a pan over high heat.
Slice the buns lengthwise and spread with ketchup.
Place a sausage in each bun. Top with sautéed onion, diced pickles, and a slice of Cheddar cheese.
Heat the assembled hot dogs at 338°F (170°C) for 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the bun is warm.
