Cool mint meets savory lamb. These meatballs are seasoned with fresh herbs and garlic, then air-fried at high heat to create a satisfyingly crisp outer layer.
Ingredients
- 21 oz ground lamb
- 4 garlic cloves and 2 small shallots, finely minced
- 0.1 oz fresh mint and 0.35 oz fresh parsley, chopped
- 0.1 oz ground cumin and 0.17 fl oz hot sauce
- 0.68 fl oz lemon juice and 0.5 fl oz olive oil, plus additional for brushing
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine ground lamb, finely minced garlic, and shallots.
Add chopped herbs, ground cumin, hot sauce, lemon juice, and olive oil.
Mix all ingredients by hand until thoroughly combined.
Shape the mixture into small, uniform meatballs. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm.
Brush meatballs with oil. Place them in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 11 minutes.
