Honey Lemon Glazed Drumsticks
A delightful balance of zesty lemon and sweet honey. The high-heat cooking renders the chicken fat to create a thin, crackly glaze that locks in all the flavor.
Ingredients
- 8 medium chicken drumsticks, skin-on (approx. 35 oz)
- 4 tbsp liquid honey
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 large lemon, juiced
- 2 garlic cloves, grated
- Salt, to taste
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions
Combine honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, and garlic in a large mixing bowl to create the marinade.
Add chicken drumsticks to the marinade, ensuring they are fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Remove drumsticks from the marinade, allowing excess to drip off. Reserve the remaining marinade. Arrange the drumsticks in a single layer in the cooking basket.
Cook at 375°F for 20-22 minutes. If necessary, drain excess liquid from the basket during cooking.
In the final 5 minutes of cooking, brush the reserved marinade over the chicken to create a glaze.

"Monitor the chicken closely during the final 5 minutes as the honey glaze can burn quickly. If excessive browning occurs, reduce the temperature to 320°F."
