A quick trip to the coast. Fish fillets are dusted in a spiced cornmeal mixture for a light crunch, then served in warm tortillas for a fresh and protein-packed taco night.
Ingredients
- 16 oz White Fish Fillets, cut into strips
- 2 oz Yellow Cornmeal
- 0.07 oz Ground Cumin
- 0.07 oz Chili Powder
- 0.1 oz Garlic Powder
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- Soft Tortillas, for serving
- Tartar Sauce, for serving
- Lime Wedges, for serving
Instructions
In a shallow bowl, combine cornmeal, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Coat the fish strips evenly with the cornmeal mixture.
Lightly spray the coated fillets with oil. Arrange them in a single layer in the basket, preheated to 350°F.
Cook for 7 minutes, turning the fillets halfway through the cooking time.
Serve the cooked fish strips in soft tortillas. Garnish with lime juice and sauce as desired.
