Cheese-Stuffed Beef Roulades
The ultimate comfort snack. Thin beef slices wrap around a heart of melting cheese, finished with a honey-soy glaze that creates a sticky, savory exterior.
Ingredients
- 12 thin beef carpaccio slices
- 7 oz hard cheese (e.g., Comté)
- 5 tbsp honey
- 6 tbsp soy sauce
Instructions
Remove rind from cheese. Cut cheese into sticks, approximately 0.6 inches thick.
Thread cheese sticks onto wooden skewers. Wrap each cheese stick completely with a beef carpaccio slice, pressing firmly to seal.
Whisk together soy sauce and honey. Marinate the skewers in the mixture for 1 hour in the refrigerator.
Place the skewers in the preheated cooking basket.
Cook at 350°F for 6 minutes. Flip skewers halfway through the cooking time to ensure even browning and melting of the cheese.
Chef's Tip
"Wrap the beef firmly around the cheese to prevent leakage during cooking."
