Asian-Style Ginger Turkey Burgers
A light and zesty twist on a classic. These lean turkey patties are infused with ginger and soy, seared to perfection for a moist interior and a savory, aromatic crust.
Ingredients
- 16 oz lean ground turkey
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1.2 oz Hoisin sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 3.2 oz panko breadcrumbs
- 4 burger buns, for serving
- Cabbage and carrot slaw, for serving
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, grated ginger, minced garlic, Hoisin sauce, and soy sauce.
Add the panko breadcrumbs and mix until fully incorporated. Avoid overmixing.
Shape the mixture into 4 uniform patties.
Refrigerate the patties for at least 30 minutes to help them hold their shape during cooking.
Cook at 400°F for 11 minutes, flipping halfway through. Serve immediately on buns with slaw.
