Naturally sweet and wholesome. Low-temperature dehydration turns fresh apple slices into crisp, concentrated bites of fruit that are perfect for snacking on the go.
Ingredients
- 2 firm apples
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
Instructions
Wash, peel, and core the apples.
Slice the apples into uniform 3mm thick rounds using a mandoline or a sharp knife.
Immerse the slices in a bowl of cold water mixed with lemon juice to prevent oxidation. Pat dry thoroughly.
Arrange the slices in a single layer on the cooking rack, ensuring they do not overlap.
Dehydrate at 175°F for 4 hours, or until crispy.
