Ingredients
- 14 oz calamari rings, fresh or thawed
- 3.5 oz durum wheat semolina flour
- Olive oil spray
- Salt and lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
Thoroughly dry the calamari rings with paper towels.
Combine calamari rings and semolina flour in a sealable plastic bag. Shake vigorously to ensure an even coating.
Remove the calamari from the bag, tapping off excess flour. Arrange them in a single layer in the cooking basket.
Generously spray the calamari with olive oil, ensuring no dry flour is visible.
Cook at 390°F for 8-10 minutes. Shake the basket at the halfway point of the cooking time.
