Ham and Cheese Stuffed Pizza Roll
A savory, rolled delight. Soft pizza dough is packed with cooked ham, provolone, and roasted peppers, baked until the cheese is molten and the crust is golden.
Ingredients
- 9.9 oz ready-made pizza dough
- 8 slices cooked ham
- 4 slices provolone cheese
- 4 slices firm mozzarella cheese
- 1.8 oz chopped roasted red peppers
- 1 egg, beaten
- 0.7 fl oz milk
- Salt, dried oregano, and garlic powder, to taste
Instructions
Allow the dough to reach room temperature. Roll it out on a lightly floured surface.
Arrange the ham, cheese slices, and chopped peppers evenly over one half of the dough.
Roll the dough tightly into a log. Pinch the seams and edges to seal completely, preventing leakage of the filling.
Combine the beaten egg and milk to create an egg wash. Brush the surface of the roll with the egg wash. Sprinkle with salt, oregano, and garlic powder.
Preheat the appliance to 350°F. Place the roll inside and cook for 20 minutes. Turn the roll halfway through the cooking time for even browning.

"For a golden-brown crust, brush the surface with an egg wash. Make several small slits on top of the roll to allow steam to vent during cooking. Ensure the roll is turned halfway through the cooking process for uniform results."
