Experience the aroma of a traditional bakery. This focaccia is tall, airy, and soft, topped with fragrant rosemary and sea salt. Ideal for sandwiches or dipping.
Ingredients
- 8.8 oz Type '00' Flour
- 5.1 fl oz Lukewarm Water
- 0.18 oz Fresh Yeast (or 0.07 oz Active Dry Yeast)
- 1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 0.18 oz Fine Sea Salt
- Fresh Rosemary, for topping
- Coarse Salt, for topping
Instructions
Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water. Add flour, oil, and salt. Knead until an elastic dough forms.
Cover the dough and let it rise for 2 hours, or until doubled in volume.
Transfer the dough to an oiled, round baking pan. Create indentations on the surface using fingertips.
Brush the surface with an emulsion of equal parts water and oil. Sprinkle with coarse salt and fresh rosemary. Bake at 340°F for 18 minutes.
