Ingredients
- 4 chicken drumsticks
- 2.7 oz thick coconut milk or Greek yogurt
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tbsp Garam Masala
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground turmeric
- 1-inch piece fresh ginger, grated
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- Salt, to taste
Instructions
Score each chicken drumstick with 2-3 diagonal cuts to allow for deeper marinade penetration.
In a mixing bowl, combine the thick coconut milk, tomato paste, Garam Masala, ground cumin, ground turmeric, grated ginger, minced garlic, and salt.
Add the chicken drumsticks to the bowl, ensuring they are fully coated with the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
Preheat the appliance to 355°F.
Remove the drumsticks from the marinade, allowing excess to adhere to the meat. Arrange them in a single layer in the cooking basket.
Cook for 20-25 minutes, turning the drumsticks halfway through, until cooked through, golden brown, and slightly charred.
