Ingredients
- 7 oz All-Purpose Flour
- 0.18 oz Baking Powder
- 0.18 oz Salt
- 0.04 oz Baking Soda
- 0.18 oz Sugar
- 4 oz Cold Butter, cubed
- 2 oz Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 3.7 fl oz Buttermilk
- Melted Butter, for brushing
Instructions
Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar into a bowl.
Incorporate the cold, cubed butter using fingertips until the mixture resembles coarse sand.
Add the shredded cheddar cheese and buttermilk. Mix briefly until just combined.
Roll the dough to a 0.4-inch thickness. Cut out 4 large biscuits using a round cutter.
Brush the tops with melted butter. Place the biscuits on parchment paper and bake at 350°F for 12 minutes.
