Ingredients
- 10.6 oz mixed ground beef and pork
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 slice stale bread, soaked in milk and squeezed
- Fresh parsley, chopped, to taste
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 cup tomato sauce, pre-cooked
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine the squeezed bread, ground meat, egg, Parmesan cheese, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix until well incorporated.
Shape the mixture into meatballs, approximately 1.5 inches in diameter.
Arrange the meatballs in a single layer. Cook at 375°F for 10 minutes until sealed and browned.
Transfer the meatballs to a heatproof dish. Cover with warm tomato sauce and cook for an additional 5 minutes at the same temperature.
