The breakfast of champions. These dunkable bread sticks are dipped in rich egg batter, cooked to a golden crisp, and rolled in fragrant cinnamon sugar.
Ingredients
- 4 slices thick-cut white bread
- 2 large eggs
- 2 fl oz milk
- 0.5 fl oz maple syrup
- 1.4 oz granulated sugar
- 0.1 oz ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
Cut each bread slice into 3 even strips.
In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
In a separate dish, combine granulated sugar and ground cinnamon.
Preheat the appliance to 350°F. Dip each bread strip into the egg mixture, allowing excess to drip off. Arrange the strips in a single layer in the cooking basket, previously coated with non-stick spray.
Cook for 10 minutes, turning the sticks over at the 5-minute mark. Immediately after cooking, roll the hot sticks in the cinnamon-sugar mixture to coat.

"Turn the sticks halfway through the cooking time to ensure even browning. Coat the sticks in the sugar mixture immediately after cooking while they are still hot for best adherence."
